Miami Baptist Church is hosting its first annual, Christmas Jazz on the Green which brings the best in smooth jazz music, fabulous food and refreshments, and fun activities for kids. This festival will be held Sunday, Dec 13th, 2009 from 4pm to 9pm. Admission is $5.
This festival will include great Jazz Concerts by; the Roddy Betancourt & Awesome God Orchestra Big Band, Johnny Holliday and Agnus Dei featuring Pocho Neciosup, nephew to Alex Acuna. Please contact immediately to reserve your spot for this event. Several Local High School Jazz Bands are also planned. For this concert the groups are playing a mixture of Spanish and English Christmas songs and oldies along with a few tricks up their sleeve. They will surely keep everyone grooving into the night.
We are collecting Toys for Tots sponsored by the United States Marine Corps, so bring a toy to donate to a needy child. For more information, log onto www.christmasjazzonthegreen.com. See you there
